PLANTATION, FLorida | September 27, 2022 – DustGuard Corp, a provider of cloud-based protection and safety solutions for machinery and people operating in severe off-highway environments, today announced an agreement with Interstate Power Systems as its exclusive distributor for the U.S. Western and Mid-West markets.
DustGuard Corp’s namesake product, DustGuard™, continuously monitors the combustion air of high horsepower, off-highway engines for the presence of unsafe levels of dust particles that can reduce engine reliability and cause engine failure. DustGuard Corp’s partnership with Interstate Power Systems will allow customers in the mining, oil and gas, and construction markets to benefit from reducing engine wear and damage related to dust intrusion, improving fleet reliability and lowering engine repair or replacement costs.
“We are pleased to announce our new exclusive distribution partnership with Interstate Power Systems for the U.S. Midwestern and Southwestern markets. Interstate has been providing outstanding service and support since its founding in 1957 and has a proven track record of bringing innovative solutions to their customers. Their extensive experience in the off-highway markets will ensure that our products deliver substantial improvements in fleet reliability and personal safety for the mining, oil and gas and construction segments,” said Jason Green, DustGuard Corp’s President.
DustGuard Corp was founded around the DustGuard™ engine protection solution. Other related technologies are being added to the company’s product lineup including CabGuard™, which monitors and alerts for dangerous particulates, temperature and vibration levels inside operator cabs, and RoadGuard™, which monitors and alerts for excessive haul truck vibration and g-load levels to protect tires, suspension and frames while providing real time reporting of haul road conditions.
“The DustGuard product offering gives Interstate the opportunity to provide another cost savings, value added solution to their product and service portfolio. The DustGuard technology will set Interstate apart from its counterparts with innovative products and cutting-edge technology,” said Steve Sauter, Interstate’s Vice President, Western Operations.
